Save my spot, Mom

This morning Haley crawled into our bed because she was scared for some reason. After BJ got up to take a shower it was just Haley and I resting there in that huge king bed, just waiting for BJ to finish in the bathroom so I could get up and get ready for work. We were quiet and resting and then I hear this...

"Mama, will you save my spot? I gotta go potty."

It was so cute. I guess she was worried Cameron would wake up and take her spot on the left side of me. Moments like that make being a mother the best job in the world!

Race Day

Mima signed us all up for the NV Child Seekers 5k Dash and 1mi stroll. It was really fun. Cameron & Haley loved it a lot more than I imagined. They ran most of the way, having to stop quite often of course so we all could catch up. After the race there was a little area with games and stuff for kids that we all enjoyed. It was a great Saturday morning for sure. Thanks, Mima.

Easter 2009

We spent Easter Sunday in the park and it was SO much fun. Inside some of the eggs were Bunny Bucks that allowed us to go shopping in the Bunny Buck store for super cool prizes that wouldn't normally fit in an egg (kites, balls, books, stickers, bubbles, chalk, fairy wings, bats & balls, etc.) It was so fun and the weather was perfect.

New Swing Set

The bunny brought us something super early - a NEW SWING SET!  It is gonna be SO cool when it gets set up.  The directions say it will take two adults 8-10 hours to assemble it.  I wonder how long it will take 1 adult and 2 toddlers?

The first slide down for each kid.  This is only one part of the set.  We still have to put up the monkey bars and swing portions.  But the kids are loving it already!

Searching for winter?

Notice the bright green garage sale tag on the side?  I love it!

I'm not sure what got into my kids tonight, but they decided they wanted to wear winter clothes.  Cameron found a scarf and Haley found her garage sale snow boots.  Silly kids! 

Future PBA Tour Member?

In case you can't read the scoreboard on the screen, Cameron bowled a 78 the first game and then kicked it into gear for game #2 and bowled a 117!  I think he had 2 strikes and a spare.  Below is video of the spare.  I only caught the tail end of one of the strikes on video so it's not posted here.  He doesn't bowl very often; this is only about his 7th or 8th time.  We go again Friday and he tells me and BJ "I'm gonna get all kinds of strikes on Friday!"  Let's hope so!
